What is a horoscope?
A chart of the Sun, Moon, planets and sensitive angles at the moment of birth — the basis of horoscopic astrology.
The word comes from Greek hora and scopos — time and observer. Other names include natal chart, astrological chart, sky-map, radical chart or simply chart. In the Vedic tradition the lagna, the twelve bhavas, grahas, nakshatras and dashas together describe the unfolding of a life.
